he gave me a tracking no ,which is still in (departure from outward office of exchange) since 2010- June -26 ...
what is going on?? am I got scammed !!!

I contacted Qingdao Yihaixin Trading Co., Ltd (Trade Manager: cn220073262) for an item I was searching for and got a good price on the item I was going to test out. I paid them $1000 through Western Union for that product. They sent me a fake tracking number that never showed anything. I emailed them to find out where my order was. They kept telling me to just wait a few more days. After about 3 weeks into a 3-5 day deliver promise I looked on the Alibaba message boards and found so many other people who have been robbed and scammed by this same company. I tried several more times to reach Amber Kech and never got a response. So, I am out $1000 dollars which is enough to kill your month and these deadbeats still have over 2,000 items up and are Gold Suppliers. Stay as far away from Qingdao Yihaixin Trading Co., Ltd (Trade Manager: cn220073262) as you can!!!!!

I agreed with them to buy 10 cameras. they provided the account number. I made the wife transfer. 5 days after the wire transfer, they are offline, and they have been ever since. No way to contact them.

I make a trade dispute to Alibaba, and good luck. All they do, is take your complaint and submit it to them, and wait for they reply. and keep waiting forever. Alibaba doesn't reply to my emails or inquiries about this dispute. talking to the deaf!!

Guys, I think we can altogether do something about it. I'm about to start a facebook and twitter page to build a community of those who has been through this pain, and then, together we can organize some move. The least We should do is to warn other from falling into the same rip off. Those who agree with me on the idea, please contact me, to get a feeling of the count of people with me into this.

I am all for your cause and want to extend my resouces to help in anyway I can. I will let everyone know about this site and do anything else to help. Thanks for the great site. It would of been better if I found this before I was scammed but lessons learned I guess.

I am extreamly disappointed in alibaba's actions to not have more in place to prevent this. It was so disappointing to me when I received the reply to my claims. It is crazy.

On the other hand I have found some great companies that are more then willing to supply my needs an alibaba and I want everyone to know the things I have learned.

1. Before you even think about sending any money do your homeworkk as directed on this site.
2. If you are not in such a hurry take several weeks chatting with your contact before you send any money. Chances are if the company is a scam, then they will not be around very long.
3. Ask questions, speak to the managers, and make them wait for your business.
4. Any company that gives you an overly "Great Deal" stay away from, or at the very least refer to number 2.

Thank you all for such a great site and the wealth of knowledge. I would like to become an active member to help push this cause along.

Ive just been scammed by three different "suppliers", who are already removed from alibaba.com, but then again these scammers are like gray hair. You pull one out and at least 5 of his friends will come to his funeral. I got scammed for a total of 1700 USD. Ive noticed that all of the scammers that i was exposed to, were all "1st year Gold Members".Probably wise to stay away from too cheap prices and 1st year Gold Members.

In retrospect, the name of this online-trading company has a very suiting name: Alibaba. Its right in your face and one should see it right away, but no. Even the founder of Alibaba, Ma Jun(Jack Ma), pointed out the ironi of the name with an anecdote,
Jack Ma said: "One day I was in San Francisco in a coffee shop, and I was thinking Alibaba is a good name. And then a waitress came, and I said do you know about Alibaba? And she said yes. I said what do you know about Alibaba, and she said ‘Forty thieves'. And I said yes, this is the name! Then I went onto the street and found 30 people and asked them, ‘Do you know Alilbaba’? And thieves they are. Yes, They all knew about it, we all knew about it. Newbies should be aware of the danger of loosing there hard earned money to Jack Ma´s famous "Forthy Thieves".

I was new to alibaba and made the mistake of believing that gold suppliers on alibaba were legitimate and recommended by alibaba..

I was scammed out of 1600usd by 2 companies...One was a company which has conveniently disappeared from Alibaba so i can no longer contact them...I have their email but they refuse to respond and answer my questions about why my goods have no arrived...

I am not going to try and get my money back because i know its almost impossible...

I been looking on alibaba for weeks now to find a supplier and not one accepts escrow or will talk to me when i ask if i can visit their factory...

In my opinion alibaba is a fucking waste of time!
